Description

Taken on February 16, 2013. I just thought I would show what lake effect snow is like. I live about 6 miles from Lake Michigan. I heard that it was sunny a few miles east of me.

Oh, brrrr! We had a blizzard in June once. It doesn't snow that often, but when it does, it makes up for it. My Rottie jumps off the porch & disappears. Lol.

Ugh, Lived in Cleveland for a few years so know what you mean when you say lake effect snow. It seems to come out of no where and leaves as quickly as it came...but usually leaves behind PLENTY of snow. Living in NH we are rather used to snow, but I've really had enough for this year, LOL. Stay warm!

Wow! That is some snow. You should see some of the shots from New England after the last blizzard. Three feet of snow is not common there. Some buildings just look like big mounds of snow. Great shot.
