Description

Last night I was goofing around (and ended up staying up over 3 hours past my bed-time, which I'm sure I'll regret on Monday morning when I have to get up for work and my sleep schedule is totally out of whack) in Photoshop. Playing with textures as usual, too. When I was making the "fake wood" textures I kept stumbling into these bright-colored things that often remind me of metals or some of the exotic wood-fired clays I see from time to time. That of course preyed upon my imagination and I just couldn't seem to walk away from it, even when I was so tired my bleary eyes had a difficult time focusing on the screen! So today I pulled up the stuff I'd dabbled with last night and thought "Gee, this could use some extra punch" which always leads me to crop circles, computer circuits, and other geometric shapes and patterns. 26 layers later, I landed here. Wherever here is. Now I just need to figure out a use for it! The size is a bit big for the typical Internet Banner, but that's what keeps crossing my mind...

Hey, I feel for you, bro – my sleep schedule is always out of whack! I get to start a month of my wonderful third shift tonight.... Blah... Anyway, this is really cool, Mike! Most impressive! And I'll really be impressed if you go out and re-create this in a wheat field somewhere! LOL! The owner of the wheat field probably won't be impressed but I sure will! :-)
