I uploaded this only cause you asked about it.
Just to show you. I hadn't cause I really hated it. It felt so amateurish.
Its not really a dedi. Too crappy for that.
Sigh. All the texturing & work for nothing.

It's not bad. It has the feel of "cold" with the wall textures and floor reflection. I think part of the problem is we are too far away from the figure. The room is nice but shouldn't be the focal point of the piece. The textures are great and the girl is beautiful. There should be a way to make it pop more. Maybe someone with a better eye will give you more help.

Hahaha... just thinking about all the stuff I wouldn't post if I started rating my own work. I'd be here a lot less that's for sure. Thanks for posting this, even if you think it's less than what you were aiming for Angel. I like it!

I like it. You're being a bit hard on yourself. I think it's fine work IMHO and the character is quite the beautiful ice queen. 'Cool'...scene ;)

Wow, you did do a lot of retexturing on this. It's not 'for nothing' hon. Nothing's ever for nothing. Don't we always learn something from everything new we do? You are being hard on yourself. You did a great job with the background encroaching into the palace and with the texturing too and your posing is flawless..and so is your ice maiden :)

I really like that figure and texture, posing is nice. They might be onto something that a closer camera angle would work better for the piece. I love the textures. :) hugs I do lots of stuff that never makes it here.

Not sure what you're embarrassed by?? I love the ice princesses she's beautiful and her pose is fantastic. The textures look good too, so whazup??? lol Sometimes we are our own worst critics ;)

I agree .. you're being way too hard on yourself. I like it as is. textures are to die for. only thing i might change is make the curtains more filmy and lighter. but that's just a thought, because i like it as is and can't see anything else you might change!
