Description

The Chrysler Corporation produced the DeSoto Custom from 1939 to 1952. This is the hood ornament from the 1950 model 4 door custom flat head six. Behind on my comments since I took a spine, while trimming a Roebelenii Palm, right into that fleshy part of the palm of my hand between the thumb and the wrist. Not the best typist around before this and now I am using only my left hand today. Zoom works! Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

Great capture Dana. They don't do hood ornaments like this one anymore, cost too much and they haven't figured how to make them from plastic. Hope your hand gets better. Seems that when one gets older the little mishaps multiply exponentionally!

I've never seen this hood ornament. It's very cool. The face looks the color of amber. Lovely shots! I hope your hand is better soon.
