That is NOT me in the picture!
Thanks for visiting my gallery! If you were redirected here from Culture Crunch, you will find the "alternate versions" of Didi and Kelly here, as well as a few prototypes, if you look hard enough.
Once upon a time, I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be cool to make pictures of people on the computer?" Of course, at the time, I was thinking more along the lines of Max Headroom, but when Poser came out, I knew I had to have it. Yes, folks, I am one of the lucky few who has been using Poser since version 1!
Most people would agree that Poser 4 was the turning point, where it went from being a reference tool to a way to make real pictures (I won't say "real art") in its own right. Then came along someone named Victoria... And the rest is history!
Recently I've been getting into DAZ Studio quite a bit. I'm also trying to wrap my mind around LuxRender.

Looks great, there are numerous incredible lights right within Daz Studio that I use all the time. Also, experience is the biggest issue, experience with Daz Studio I mean. It requires you to learn lights, where as Poser does all the work for you - reason so many love it. I do too, but I can't stay in it long enough to get anything done because the work flow is irritating and slow. Before long, I'm closing it and returning to Daz Studio, my first love for scenes and illustrating. The girls look nice, tweak them here and there and before you know it, you'll have them just as you wish. I had several saved Gen4 characters that I remade for Genesis, wasn't easy, but I got them and in fact, they are now better, a tad bit different, but overall recognizable.

That could be the case. I suppose with some more time spent learning, I could get some better lighting results from within DAZ Studio. I'll be looking into it.

Always good to see Didi... She's certainly as attractive as ever :) I know it's creepy that I have a crush on your fictional rendering... The heart wants what the heart wants ;P
