Description

I got up early one morning last month & found that there had been a light dusting of snow overnight. All the trees were covered with a very beautiful frost. I usually don't go out in the morning until I've had breakfast & warm up a little, but I decided to grab my camera & walk around the property before it all started to melt. I've just begun to go through the photos I took that morning & found a few that I think may be worth sharing. This first one is from a small flat area at the base of the large hill behind my house (you can just barely see part of my roof in the background). The reddish brown trees on the left are madrones & the rest of the hill is covered with manzanita, oak, pine & fir... Please zoom
