Description

The crystal skulls are shrouded in mystery-and “Maya” is no exception. Most of the purported ancient crystal skulls can not be documented as ancient because archaeologists were not present when they were uncovered at a ruin. The only skull documented as ancient is Sha Na Ra whose guardian is Michele Nocerino. However, each crystal skull purported to be ancient or old is exceptionable with its own story, history, experiences and message, which makes them intriguing-even to their respective guardians. Jane became “Maya’s” guardian before she had ever heard there were ancient ruins in Mexico. Nor had she had any knowledge the crystal skulls were a phenomena or would become one. Jane vacationed in Mexico shortly after she separated from her husband in 1987. With that healing she received an unexpected twist to her life even more bizarre than her marital separation was to her at the time. Once the skull was in her possession, the forces around the crystal skull or what the Maya call the K’ul is probably what took Jane on a ride into the unknown that changed her forever. Unaware of ruins and with no interest in crystals at the time, why Jane was attracted to a crystal skull at that time still haunts her thoughts. From the moment Jane held “Maya” in the palm of her hand and became the crystal skull’s caretaker the gentle energy emanating from this artifact gave her a sense of peace. To her she had located something she treasured but had no tangible explanation why she held that belief. Trying to figure out why she made such a strange purchase, Jane’s nagging thoughts temporarily were dismissed because of her belief in the theory of Past lives. She could only think that she must have used a crystal skull in a past life and that is why Jane became so elated when she spotted, “Maya”. Cuernavaca, Mexico – Place of purchase On the way from Aculpuco to Mexico City the tour bus made a lunch stop in Cuernavaca. After lunch with not quite an hour to visit Jane began strolling the shops on the street looking for a souvenir. Convinced there was nothing to buy in the first store, she headed towards the door but walked directly into a locked glass case with a sign that said artifacts. She took a glance into the case and gasped when she saw Maya and a smaller crystal skull. Overwhelmed with emotion and feeling a strong affinity to the crystal skulls she had to purchase them, along with the other artifacts positioned around the 2 crystal skulls in the case-2 black onyx Jaguar statues with jade inlays and a green feathered serpent. As she was paying for her purchase and the skulls were being wrapped up, she decided to ask the store owner where the skulls were discovered . He kept uttering the words the ruins, the ruins and some Spanish name Jane could not understand. Unfortunately, Jane had no knowledge there were ruins in Mexico- so the exact discovery location is only known to be from a Mayan ruin. Thanks Magik

There is a power in crystals and quite interesting to learn somethings about the skulls. Some people even believe that they are like ancient computers that store information.

Fascinating render and story, Real! What I find fascinating about the crystal skulls they've discovered so far, is that even with all our modern technology, we are unable to duplicate the way these skulls were manufactured, or carved. Apparently they were cut across the grain of the crystal, which is nearly impossible to do without shattering the crystal.
