Aw, well that is usually not my problem. I truly enjoy surfing the tides of a spell to fish out just what resonates most with my intent. And the dazzling variety of that ocean of possible ingredients is one of the best psychic lightshows I can thing of. And I can dive into that and bring in my catch all without having applied the slightest measure of any of the multitude of mind altering ingredients to my bloodstream. ;-) It is difficult afterwards to compose something that will be practical without loosing the cutting edge though. To get the essence of the whole composition is the true challenge. Yes, I guess I might be a tad crazy, which suits me, because people of modern times label all witches and shamans as a bit crazy be they fakes or real. Ahh get me started on herbalism and incense making.... I shut up now. Great image my friend.

She is very clever to use that owl, first she is smelling the wind. Then she let the owl hunting the mice because where they are living there are mostly herbs to be found. And then hope that these are the herbs she wants. The colors are brilliant and the whole scene breathes concentration, superb!!! Gr.Rudy.

I imagine the herb witches always old, wrinkled and bent. She has none of that. She has the beauty herb found....for themselves and the little big owl! The forest is enchanting. The light warm and positive.

Love it! She's a perfect hedge witch, deep in thought, trying to remember which herbs she needed. If only she'd remembered her Book of Shadows too! And her owl familiar is no help, taking another nap. I love this...beautiful colors, very fanciful and fun. Awesome :)
