Description

Pictures were taken at the Panaewa Rodeo Stampede Contest held in Hilo Feb 16th. Guys and Gals from young to elders were in there doing what they do best and having fun. Although I’ve been to several rodeo’s before, I made a lot of mistakes on picture taking. You can make corrections in photoshop such as cropping or horizontal level but the idea is to get it on the first try which I failed. I need to focus on what to do before going to the event. Oops, poor calf got the rope in its eye! Photography is an ongoing learning process, and this shot is wonderful, so next time will be even better, that's how we all go. We can NEVER get it all right every time!

I think your images overall are great! You captured so much of the action~ which is also the point. It is an exciting atmosphere with lots of noise and distractions, stuff going on every which way, I think you did great. =) (I've been to many horse shows and weekend Saddle Club events, some of which involved calves and goats - what fun!)
