This is my first real picture using LuxRender. It's pretty good at the SHINY STUFF! Hmm, maybe I should have let this one cook a little longer. I'm still learning.
AMERICAN: Tonight, the Academy Awards are on TV.
NON-AMERICAN: Why would they televise the award ceremony for a school?
Yes, it's time for the non-indicatively named Academy Awards, where people walk away with those golden Oscar statues. Or are the statues walking away by themselves?
Basically, the awards are about a bunch of good looking people telling each other how smart they are, and a bunch of smart people getting awards for sound editing while the people at home are taking a bathroom break.
Or, you could think of it as a bunch of rich people who will gladly tell you in detail how much they hate rich people.
So, why watch? I don't know. It's an American tradition. Some of us - not saying who - are really only watching for the cleavage.

Preferably C3-PO than Oscars - C3-PO moves and says silly wisdoms, Oscars don't. Er, am I forgetting the people grabbing Oscars and running off? Cool photo, er, image. Looks like a nice flash bounced off the wall to the right outside the edge of the image. LuxRender looks great (as you say, on shiny stuff). Now replace with Didi or Kelly in a bikini and see how their skin turns out. THAT's the real test - skin! Keep up the good work! Looking foreward to more LuxRender trials! :-) Drat, I still haven't found where the Rendo staff has hidden away the 6s in the rating system!
