Looks like an original 1956 Chevy station wagon on the outside...but the drivetrain and engine must make this one special. Great looking chrome but the paint has a matte appearance. Excellent show piece.

I've not seen one of these for a long time, although my grandfather has a '56 Ford station wagon (as we call them here) which wasn't really that different. Many of the wagons were heavily sprung so were rough riding without a good load. I like the paint but cannot determine if it is just a matte or perhaps a pearl coat. Great photo!
