Description
Every once in a while I like to revisit an old image and redo it with my current system and what I hopefully have learned since. This time I picked one of my all time favorites http://fav.me/d2eqade Evening at the Tavern from 2009. The original image was done in Vue 8 Infinite on a 4 Gb PC. For the remake I started with the old scene and pulled the camera back to make more room to fill up the place. I remember that the original was a struggle due to the number of characters and the many lights. With my current PC and Vue 11 Infinite this new one was a piece of cake (i7 930 with 24 Gb of RAM). Any way here is the remake of the image which is inspired by my role playing times. Every adventure starts and ends in a place such as this...

Nice to see complex scenes in Vue..lots of details and figures. Always good to go back and revisit a past work where you can see what mistakes you have made and what you have learned since then...probably improper to say mistakes..we are always learning. My favorite is the cat on the ledge..I have often placed things like paperclips in a scene just for people to find if they look hard.
