Not the average shot of a goose and it works all the better for that! I love the feather patterns: they're so much like scales...indeed, feathers are just modified scales...more or less. Wonderful color and light as well. This is great.

Beautiful pattern study, well-lit & composed. When I clicked on the thumbnail, I was glad to see this full size image. I've often clicked on thumbnails that are fascinating partial crops only to be disappointed by a full size image that turns out not to be nearly as interesting...
