Description

This is the Urraca Azul (Calocitta formosa),kindly modeling for me. Generally these birds are very elusive and suspicious, but this girl knows that the lens loves her, and did not object to me to photograph her and,may be an optical illusion, but I think she even smiled. And with this, I begin a new phase, looking for my 300. Thank you very much everyone for your kind comments. They are precious to me and help me to improve my work.

A lovely depth of field and a fine focus on the bird. Her blue colors give a lovely contrast with the orange and red flowers. Here we have blue jays and they are very bold; they will land on my outdoor table and pick up peanuts even as I am throwing them from the bag!

Fantastic depth of field, and I love your model! Birds are such odd and interesting creatures: they're endlessly active, endlessly fascinating, and always impeccably dressed! I love the crest and this little person's pose. Brilliant work, especially as this is a species of bird I've never seen before.

What a beautiful bird! At a very quick glance it made me think of our blue jays, but this girl is sporting way more plumage, LOL. Nice capture!!
