Description

a big thanks to my friend Richard (Richardphotos) for helping me get the much needed dodge charger and vw that were in the movie Bullitt. also for my friend Don (hardwaretoad) for the inspiration and idea to get the mustang without the gold stripes. it was a premade tex and used ps6 to change it. also spent lots of time on the bg scene adding in lots of details including my own grafitti name, but had to blur it out to give the appearence of motion / speed on the two main cars. i will reuse the bg someday w/o the blur effect. thank you for stopping by, enjoy life, family and friends and always wear a smile. it also makes some people wondering what your up too. my last post: Landslide thumb_2417463.jpg

The hazy bg gives this image speed, well done! If I may say, when you used the windy look tool in PS for the hazy bg,it was even more realistic. In spite of that ,I think it's a great job you did!!! Gr.Rudy.

Miss the sound of those Detroit Muscle Cars rumbling on the streets, now all it is is the High RPM whine of all the Foreign stuff. Super work man Peace

I'm late to the party I see but in good company at least, lol. You nailed it Steve, and I'm glad to see you even let the bug have it's cameo appearance. Great sense of motion and tension as there was in the movie... now on to the big crash into the gas station! I do have to agree with 'vechtda', a side-to-side blur would create more of a sense of motion in a shot like this. I use to take lots of pics at all kinds of races (NHRA, Nascar, Indy, F1, unlimited Hydros, Reno air races, etc.) in 35mm and as one pans with the cars to keep them focused the BG will be drawn out opposite of the direction of their travel in a linear fashion. A small issue and in no way is your image diminished due to it's absence, Steve, so PLEASE don't take this as criticism ~ many thanks for your hard work and the dedi, it's humbly appreciated.
