I had a watch once that I love very much, given to me for Christmas eons ago when we were not yet married. It was beautiful, the old fashioned wind-up kind of watch. Years later, my daughter felt the need to borrow it, but her wrists were a little bigger then mine, and the watch wouldn't fit her, so she stuck it in her jeans pocket. Of course she never emptied her pockets when she threw those jeans in the dirty wash. So I did the laundry, threw it in the dryer .. and notice something in the bottom of the washing machine .. and more somethings in the dryer .. and that's what I thought of when I saw this with all those springs and things in that beautiful fractal .
