Description

I was thinking about elementals today and its been many years since I created a series (full body) or elementals (2007) and they were photomanipulations at that time. This one is a mixed medium (character mostly painted using a friend as reference) portrait. I am not sure I did the element of air justice (I can always add to it I guess). (Wish I could have come up with a better name for it ... but an air elemental is an air elemental, right?). Of course, this means I will have to work on Water, Fire and Earth (not sure when time will allow me to do that but you never know ;O-) Another day to play! I've been under the weather all week actually and there is plenty I could be doing the last couple of days but the brain is not cooperating and as art is something that I don't really have to think about (its a flow thing) .... here I am (2 pieces of art in 2 days - wow, lol ;O-) The "wings" on the eyes are fractal wings and I know they were purchased here many moons ago but I cannot for the life of of remember who created them (I did a search but could not find them). If anyone recognizes them, let me know and I will gladly cite the source ;O-) Credits: I could not find the wispy (or whispy) brushed in the dropdown for antje. An air elemental who could almost pass as a water elemental too. You may be half way there and not even know it. Did you share the work with your friend, I bet she would be pleased.
