Yikes, spring melt perhaps? That tree won't be happy too long with it up that high...but what a gorgeous shot!

A really cool shot, Tara! That's what it will look like here if all this snow melts too quickly!

I've only heard of this place through word of mouth but never actually got to visit here. The capture of the tree in the water is so beautiful and makes for the most peaceful atmosphere! Beautifully expressed, my Friend!

Never did figure out where the land and the water's edge were supposed to be:) Fine photo with even a duck to provide a nice add-on. That was a fun stop.

The water hasn't been up too long otherwise the tree be dead. Be nice to see if the water recedes before it does.

The attitude of this tree is looking such lovely and soft. Your photo has a bit of a romantic painting. It's SO beautiful, and so well focused. Love it, Tara.

I think the duck owns that tree. I mean, just look...that's one proud duck! That's one nice tree...this is what could be considered in certain circles as enough good which translates to A Mighty Fine piece of work. Victorian English is so rich in understatement, don't you think? I really like the mood of this shot and the almost primordial qualities of it. I'd love to see a long necked dinosaur doing that long-necked dinosaur thing. Oh, and speaking of long necked dinosaurs, did you know that they probably used their tails as whips? Apparently bone compression seems to indicate they did the whip cracking thing with their tails, probably for mating purposes; recent research has actually mimicked the sound, which is...well...in a word, impressive. It brings a whole new meaning to the term "thunder lizard." That has nothing to do with this shot, but it doesn't take much to make me think about stuff like thunder lizards, ducks, and the occasional social commentary embedded in...oh, never mind..
