Description
My very good young friend Helen, fine artist extrordinaire, teacher and traveller. She has kept in touch ever since she was one of my household as a student, and visits me several times a year.
She has a year's contract at a very expensive private girls boarding school only 90 minutes away, so popped down this weekend to give me some perfume miniatures she found in duty-free!
Don't you just love that name brooch? They must cost at least £50 each. Mind you the school gets its pound of flesh. Helen works till 8pm two nights a week and every Saturday there is some sort of parents day.
