While visiting a park yesterday, we came across a few of these. No doubt damaged from a blizzard are had here going on a month ago now. Thanks as always. Have a safe week. :)

Here's a sign of age for you ... my immediate thought upon seeing this was Songs from the Wood by Jethro Tull. That album came out in 1977. The back cover of the record was a tree stump clearly showing the rings, with a turntable arm and needle "playing" the stump. I love the dof and your composition!

Tree rings always make me stop and think...each ring representing good years and not so good years...years of plenty and thin years. A fine object Fred. Nicely done and appears to have been done with your favorite 50mm:)
