LIZ-LIVE? Not actually. But Miss Taylor exists in our MADHOUSE collection of cinema celebrities … along with the Madonnas, Mae Wests or Monroes … famous names still alive in the minds of image makers; not just the reality of camera lenses or the capabilities of computers.
EXAMPLE … This Cleopatra. Her background isn’t Egypt or the River Nile. It’s in the mind of the maker. Her head dress and gown aren’t actual period pieces [created by Edith Head]. They express artistic license. Still Cleopatra and LIZ live on through the choices creativity creates.
As all of you who work art know so well. Facts are often poetry. But the one fact they tell is quite real. It’s all about the most important person … you and the gifts you bring to time.
