Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

I thought it was Chihuly, there are some pieces reminiscent of this at the installation in Seattle Center. Lovely capture!

Wonderful...Chihuly is everywhere! I haven't visited any of his displays yet but as you know his home base is just south of us in Tacoma.

Wonderful photography! I like being able to see the glass, but also one of the plants that was obviously the inspiration.
