Description
well i had a good few days , hiked a few trails , saw some elk ,mule deer and a few other animals that i hadn't seen , the days were not to bad with daytime temps in the mid 50's on the rim and low 20's at night ... inside the canyon itself during the day was mid 70's- low 80's ... i would have rather enjoyed spending more time down inside but as i was alone i chose not to do so ...the picture in all honesty doesn't do the view justice you have to see it first hand to really see the amazing beauty of this place ..this shot was taken from the desert watch tower which overlooks a good portion of the canyon itself .....
enjoy the view as much as i did ... and thanks for the views , comments and fave's if you should happen to do one or the other ..

Yeah that's so true. Pictures just don't do it justice. Yours is a very nice one though. I have only ever been in the hot summer months.

I've spent a month in the canyon on the river many times. Your shot is overexposed on most of the photo except the lower left hand corner. Bet the colors will pop in the rock and the sky if you play with it a little!
