Abreojos means "open eyes" in Spanish. I live on the tip of Baja California and Colorado before that.
2013 update. Had to go to work in the states since the crash of 2008. Speend my summers in ND working. Spring and summer in the southwest and winters home in Cabo. Got back into photography and am enjoying that far more than digital landscape programs for many reasons but mainly because it get me away from the computer and out in the world again!
Since I Started playing around with digital art several years ago and have created images I never thought I had the talent to create. I have learned from many great artist in this community since IÂ became a member IÂ believe back in 2002. Â Thanks for stopping by!

What an amazing place. Aside from the better photos you get, stopping and taking 'time' in a place is the ONLY way to experience a destination IMHO.

That's wild, great shot. Makes me wonder what it looks like during a Rain with water following those paths. Peace

An iconic photo yielding a great view of the effects of wind, water and time. Will be there with camera in hand about a month from now. Do you recall what time of the day this is?

Nice image and I am with you and waiting for the shot and enjoying the surroundings that is a big part of what I love about photography and I always wonder about those people too like they are making a quota saying hey I've been here but they've not quite experienced the real beauty of what they are seeing.

I fully understand the importance in time and light but most people only want a 5 minute keepsake to post on Facebook or something similar-As you know? their images will not be up to much unlike this one with it's great detail
