I've seen snowflakes magnified under a microscope, and seen what a vast world of lines and shapes they contain: They're little universes. So your snowflake, here, is a fitting tribute to the 'actual' snowflake. It's like a solar system, a whole world of planets into itself. You use 'dusty' shading, shading that has tiny particles in it, like stipple: It gives a grainy soft texture to all the shadow. And the two spheres inside the flake look like eyes (I'm sure other people saw this too); while the bottom of the flake is a huge conglomerate of merging and colliding energies. A very creative vision of the snowflake; with your characteristic way of making white space 'speak', and of making lines move and sing. Beautiful work once more...
