Description

This old barn and silo is near to where I live. As I was taking this photo I couldn't help to think that this property was home to someone. As this barn fades away so do their memories. Thanks for stopping by.

Not only that this kind of barn is being replaced with cheaper easy to construct metal buildings and will become just a memory one day.! Great shot..makes me wish I had time to go shoot all the ones I have seen.

That's what I think about when I visit antique shops. These were once someones life. And now it's a faded memory. We all face that same destiny.

Something about old buildings. I once read where some people believe that a building absorbs some piece of everyone who has ever lived in it. Excellent image and an excellent comment to go with it.

many places like this in Texas as I suppose most states. I wonder why they leave it to be eaten by termites and the weather superb subject and capture

An excellent zoom to take in the rustic colors in the silo. It is sad to see more and more abandoned farm s across this great country!

A most unusual combination of different textures and materials - but with an interesting focal point, the silo! which brings it all together perfectly, well observed Bob, BB
