Description
A picture to illustrate my other hobby. :-) This is an 8000-piece jigsaw puzzle that my coworkers gave me for my birthday. It's been something of an ongoing saga given that prior to this I never did anything bigger than a thousand pieces, and usually miniatures that fit on my coffee table.
I even started a blog to register my progress:

Oh, and about an hour after I took the above picture I found another tray with blue pieces hiding under the trays with yellow pieces. XD

ROFLMAO! Great scene! I've come to believe that there are some fractal works and other images posted here that would make great and nasty jigsaw puzzles Have fun!!!!

There are simpler tasks in life, you know. Like making the world perfect, stopping all hunger in the world, inventing everlasting energy sources, stopping global warming or the solution for eternal life. A 8000 piece jigsaw puzzle is NOT a birthday present. Its more like a birthday punishment. What the heck did you do wrong to deserve that? And I thought life in jail was bad LOL! Congratulations with your birthday! And I hope you'll find some "evil" way to get back at them LOL! OMG! I hope that puzzle is more than just a blue sky with one single tiny bird in the middle :P

omg you are just like me I love to do puzzles, I have never done one with 8000 pieces though wow, I need to find one of those, but the little trays I do something very similar, and I get very possesive if anyone wants to help... haha great photo good luck with it... show us a picture when you finish.

I love jigsaw puzzles, but haven't done one in a long time. Two-sided round puzzles ... lots of fun! All-one-color-purple, round puzzle ... got a certificate from the company when I finished that one. :P I'd love to try 8,000 pieces. Enjoyed your blog! :)
