My friend Bob(Arcavee on Rendo) mentioned that he thought the ships in my previous post looked like they rolled along the ground on a large tire. Of course they didn't roll,they flew...but this led me to create a new model in Wings3D. Thus the Deathroller was born. This is more of a test render,but I got carried away as usual! The textures on the Deathrollers are a combination of Photos from CGTextures and a Bryce procedural. The ground plane and rocks are textured in a Seriously Real Material,the tree in a preset trunk material(tree is part of Daz's Trees For The Forest set,rocks form their Temple Ruins set).Dust is a sphere textured in a modified cloud volumetric. Sky,light and atmo are custom,with RGB settings set in the Atmo Lab. Postwork in Photshop included a levels boost,motion blurring of tires,light glow on sensors,debris,signature and resizing.
