One of the things I enjoy about photography, especially contemporary digital photography, is the ability to render a photograph into something else while retaining the actual photography involved. This is a superb example of that. It's the essence of something, but not the thing itself, nor is it a literal representation. This is why I enjoy art so much. It breaks barriers and shows us familiar things in subjective ways. I love the subjectiveness of this image. This is beautifully done.
