The Sabre was the RAAF's front line fighter for a decade from the mid-1950's, eventually replaced by the Dassault Mirage. Please zoom.

Isn't it funny that we would both post shots of sabres on the same day? Well, mine was about 30 minutes into the 14th of March. This is a very nice shot Andrew! I didn't know it was here until just now as I always work my way back from the most recent postings back to my last upload.

Perfect shot mate! This (as it happens, sorry U.S. fans, but), was the ultimate Sabre.. Jamming an Avon engine into a Sabre boosted its get up an GO by quite a bit! Much the the Merlin did in the Mustang.. I know its not done to know anything U.S. (and indeed I don't..) but when the best of both are combined you get this! EXCELLENT! Rob
