The Psychology of the Petty Tyrant Bullies are often people who feel a need for power over others. They also like to get attention - even if it is negative attention. When the person being bullied or intimidated reacts in fear, timidity or runs away from the bully and hides that person immediately becomes the victim of the bully. By such reactions, the victim gives the bully the power and a feeling of superiority - and the attention they want. The intimidation that is happening here is 'cyber-bullying'. They are using words. What are those words going to do to you? Hurt you? Sure, but they will not 'break your bones'. Do you really want to give your art as a sacrifice and give the bully power? Then don't run away. Don't react openly to their comments. Report them to Admin. Know that all your friends stand by you. Stand by and for yourself. The bully is standing alone. But when you run off and hide you give him/her power. Don't do that. You are allowing the bully to win a victory over you, if you do. In my experience, bullies often lose interest when they wind up spitting out their own teeth... funny how a kick in the face can knock the fight right out of some people... I've heard of this thing happening here before. I guess it's inevitable that you get the odd moron...

Dear Ray, i know your words are true my friend, i also know by my self that deleting my gallery was for me to start clean with a new gallery. Some of my images i will repost again. I know also that i have hurt many friends by doing that. But for me it was a good idea to start over. I also know that you are not putting anyone down for our actions. Petty tyrant brings Don Juan to mind... It has been my experience that when confronted by a "bully" it is best to stand your ground. When I was young, we moved from the city to a very small village in central Michigan. The school there had around 70 students in total, and they were farm kids and loggers children for the most part. Many of the boys didn't like the newcomer. I didn't look like them or speak like them. They were behind in their education, using a World History book in the 6th grade that I had read in my 4th grade class... etc. I was confronted daily until the day I got fed up and shoved one particular jerk out of the second story window... I had remained quiet and isolated until then. After that the bullying didn't stop, but it abated greatly... It took a few more lessons before the idiots caught on and left me alone, but they finally did get the message. I was taught to never run.. fight the good fight, give as good as you take, never stop until you can't get up, or your opponent is down for the count.

I found out the hard way, it is better to say nothing. it will bother them more than anything else. also, if I am silent then I do not have to pull my foot out of my mouth for something stupid I have said in anger
