Description

"A marriage made in Heaven." March 15th my two 89 year old parents celebrated their 69th Wedding Anniversary. They were married while my father was on a three day Army pass. Sadly, my mother has advancing dementia and is but a shadow of her wonderful former self. My father is dedicated to her care at home. My father was one of those men of the "greatest generation" that served in WWII, taught me music, mechanics, an appreciation for the beauty in architecture and nature, and led me to mathematics. I dedicate this image to them.

I am also as old as they have been married. congrats to them. a relative has been married for 63 years and her husband is constantly having seizures and his mind is a shadow of the past

Wonderful and touching dedication to your parents. WOW! 69 years is a long time. My hat is off to them. Give them a big hug from me. That is a major accomplishment.
