Description
Venice. The Frari’s Basilica. The Mausoleum dedicated to Titian (detail), by Luigi Zandomeneghi (1843-1842). The centre is dominated by the statue of the artist crowned with a laurel wreath. Nearby is the UNIVERSAL NATURE and the GENIUS OF THE KNOWLEDGE with the statues of PAINTING, SCULPTURE, GRAPHIC and ARCHITECTURE.
