Description

...two astronauts have been forced to make a quick exit from their main ship, and have landed on this seemingly barren planet. First things first, they're setting up their communication gear, plotting thier position etc. A rescue is likely, but could take some time. Now the waiting... A little unusual for me, this scene just sort of happened: Starting with some terrain and material experiments, I made the atmosphere "just to see" and it looked cool for a sci-fi pic. I then remembered the "Nomad Module" I'd got from DAZ, and - well, ended with this :) Thanks for viewing, comments etc always welcome and appreciated. Have a nice day - Lars

Not your usual fare, the sky is very realistic, and the distant terrain is good. The astronauts are just not photorealistic for me, but I know if anyone can do it, its you.

I love the atmosphere. I can definitely see the difference between this and your more planned compositions. Each item seems more individual and unto itself. It enhances the isolating feel of the scene.
