Description
One of a large group of bluejays in a tree (don't know what kind) that was starting to blossom. Taken from a distance at maximum zoom, so not as sharp as I would have liked, but not too bad considering, I think?

Gorgeous photo! It's a Steller's jay, the only crested jay in the western U.S.

Not bad at all. Max zoom is challenging. I've never seen a Blue Jay quite like this. Neat.

The Steller's jays are such quick movers; I try and try for a good shot, but haven't managed it yet. They are beautiful, despite their noise.

I agree with the Steller's Jay ID although I have only seen them in the Crater Lake area. I like this POV among all those orange blossoms!
