I bet this building was magnificent in its day. Interesting to see the contrast of the satellite dish against its worn exterior.

Poor old stones... Excellent shot!

Fascinating worn & eroded textures on this building. I probably would have Photoshopped out the satellite dish...

Wow, that masonry looks like something from ancient Rome. Outstanding find.

EXCELLENT WORK! I LOVE THE SATELLITE DISH

I love that dragon. The contrast between the appearance of great age and something so modern really works for me. Well seen, and well done!

Keeping up with modern times...love the TV Satellite Dish.... Aloha

I love the age and decrepitude of the building; what a wonderful shot!

What a beautiful shot. Wish they didn't have the dish

What an intriguing concoction of details and ' living things' - all so well worn out and lived in ... a kind of forgotten era, left behind -except for, you know what! thought provoking find, Nikolay, BB

Always find your photos thought provoking too. After mulling around and considering "photo manipulation", I am guessing you added the satelite dish(?)...

I like this pic sooo much! First you think no one lives here. Old facade (which is very beautiful). But the satellite dish and the things on the rickety balcony say otherwise. Here is someone trying to make it trotzallem a little cozy. The old clothesline on railings reminds me of my grandma. She also had dried their laundry Sun on balcony. Although I am sad on the other side makes that man must live like that. This must be no more. The gap between rich and poor is widening.

WOW! I love the ancient vibe this shot has. The idea that someone lives in so textured a place is quite fascinating. This makes me think of some of the places I've seen in my limited travels and other places I've written about in other situations. I love this! The sense of age and life still in use. This is brilliant! I love the open door and the wonderful stone and wooden textures. I wonder what the inside looks like!

Always enjoyed your images, though it's a long time since I've visited your gallery. Seeing this image, it's impossible not to see how many of your images can be taken in Bucuresti, as well. I always find it funny to see the digital connection (an antenna or internet cable) along with the old facade that looks like nobody's home. Fine image, Sir.
