Description

The conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter March 17th. There were a lot of clouds Sunday night so I was unable to get the shot I envisioned. I processed the photo with HDR and came up with this rather abstract image. To the upper right of the Moon you can see Jupiter with a couple of it’s moons.

Interesting shot, but Jupiter can't ever look this big from earth can it? Did you alter the scale?

Thanks to photosynthesis for pointing out a problem in my description of this photo. The large green crescent is ghosting in my lens caused by the brightness of the Moon. Jupiter is to the right of that.
