Description
This is the first of a series of images of returning and returned veterans I am doing for local veterans services organizations. Because of drastically limited budget (read that as NO budget) don't be surprised if I post to the forums that I'm looking for specific items such as uniforms, prosthetic limbs, and such. Let me know what you think if you have a moment.

Thanks, Hedd. I'm working on one at the moment that is a WWII/Korean Conflict vet that lost a leg and just pins up the empty trouser leg. Finding parts and props has turned into an expensive proposition, but it's worth it.

From personal experience with someone in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, you need to pare down the size of the models legs....even though he might be new to the chair, if he is paralyzed for life, his limbs will shrink, muscle mass will disappear and legs will become mostly skin draped over bones...not a pretty sight, but truth all the same. It's a great idea and I wish you luck with it all and by the way, my experience comes from my son who is a paralyzed veteran, so thanks for the work.

No, Mickeytie, my thanks to your son. As a disabled veteran myself I understand his sacrifice and continue to work (even in my classes I teach) to bring about change inside the system so our veterans are properly taken care of. Thanks for the tips on the legs! I'm going to try to adjust M4 and save the character as a permanent part of my collection.
