so have you got a tin-opener? ============ It's been a rather busy week, with a pile of work and an external drive being temperamental ... but, I hope, I've got everything sorted out now and can return to my usual routines tomorrow. In the meantime, thank you all for the many comments, and I'll catch up with commenting tomorrow afternoon.

external drives can be temperamental indeed.i remember last time we painted the "spacko-Daz-room" i forgot to write down which device was plugged in which slot (usb). i made a mistake and freaking vista did not wanted to recognice the harddisk,as soon as i plugged in the drive windows wanted to format it to make it "useable". i plugged it into the other computer it worked and then i plugged it back i into the main pc and only then was it working.good luck bro. .
