Description
My first attempt of using a new type of program, given to me very generously by my son Jeff, called: *FILTER FORGE3*
He won it as part of the first place price, here @ Rendo for the Halloween animation entry, last year !
Low and behold, a few weeks later it was advertised here as a FREE download, go figure? - (did you get it?) -
Anyhow, I just fiddled with it and found the 'Metalizer' filter and the result reminded me somehow of Dale Chihuly's glass art sculptures, which I find very inspirational with it's translucency and specular shine.
BTW the flower from my garden 'was' a Strelitzia: bird of paradise! .... ;)

Brilliant result, Brigitte! I am 'fostering' two large strelitzia plants for a friend in my cold greenhouse, but I doubt I shall ever see them flower. So this glass one could prove to be more hardy.

This really is spectacular art, you've created with this program, dear Gittie. LOL, I almost fell off my chair at the sight of this wonderful art. First I thought you had made a fractal, and I was surprised greatly about everything, which I still enjoy very much. Also congratulations to Jeff for winning that prize. But for you, so many congratulations, it really is a 'masterpiece', what you perform and presents here for us. Hoping the weather is a bit normal at your place now!!!

That is a spectacular transition Brigitte and I love the results. Just gorgeous. The Chihuly collection ic currently in Florida until June. We are going to try and check it out on our way north next month!

I saw an installation of Chihuly in Atlanta a few years back and it was like a glass wonderland. I like what you've done here. I like bird of paradise and this image is like tribute from Murano, Italy.
