The world’s mythologies are a treasure trove of secrets woven out of the events of the past, passed down and altered over time. Names change. Genders change. Their stories are quite human. The things that happen to them are human-like…they simply take place in different realms. They are the tales that were told around campfires, on holy-days and in ancient texts. I like to capture some of their spirit in my art, if I can.
SRG or Sidhe Rose Graphics brings you beings from the realm of fantasy: faerie-folk, warriors of old, vampires, werewolves and other shape-shifters, angels, demons, witches, and mages both dark and light. We specialize in them! Of course, they can appear as perfectly normal everyday people, if you like. It's up to you. They will be coming soon to the Renderosity Market Place, so stay tuned!

Enjoy! And thank you for taking the time to look.

I'd like to leave a couple of cats I'm pissed at. >^..^< Well, you said... ;}~ Cool pic. I think that tractor would have been hella' uncomfortable on the backside. Even when it was show room new. ")

Agree with Angel, at the best of times those tractors would have been a hemeroid ride in hell. You managed to capture a great range here with a beautiful complexity of mottled light and shadow and yet the object sill stands out. Thank you for the dedi!

Yup, I'm sure those things were a literal and royal PITA!! I also am pretty sure every farmer had his seat cushion, lovingly made by his wife.

Wonderful capture Ray! I guess the farmers that rode this would look at our new tractors with derision & scorn, wondering why today's farmers were so soft...

Wonderful capture!!

Excellent! The light ahd shadow contrast beautifully and the old tractor has so much character to it. Really great pic. I remember that lyric very well now. I've heard the song countless times, but it did not surface when reading it.

I remember that Eric Burdon song well - I still love it! LOL @ Roxy.....OUCH! :-D What a wonderful shot, Ray! It's not easy to get the exposure right inthis sort of dappled light. This is nicely exposed - lots of detail in both the shaded and sunlit areas. I don't think it's a big surprise that when a talented artist picks up a camera, the end result will be...art! Hope to see more photos as well as your excellent artwork!
