little rant:
as you can guess it took me almost as much time to look up the credits than doing the actual render.
Steve(eekdog)was ranting the other day about artists not visiting in return,today its my turn and its about vendors.
with a few exceptions the vendors does not seem to care when receiving credits,i would at least expect a visit in return when crediting,not all the time but once in a while at least.
and dont tell me they have no time - busy creating,i am busy creating as well and my time is as precious and valuable as anybody elses.
thats why in the future i will give only credit to vendor friends (you know who you are babes)and the rest of what i use i put only into my text for my visitors to see what i used but not crediting everything anymore.
of course freebies and gifts is another story altogether.

I do not have time to credit the venders usually and I figure they already made money from me when I purchased it.. I'm sorry but I only give credit when they ask me to do a promo render for them in exchange for product.. About exchanging visits? as you know doc my life is way ahhhh shall we say hectic.. so I visit all my fav artists when I can.. but do not always have time to comment.. but you and them know hoe much I love your work!! and this one??? WOW can she also hold my ahhhh gun? :oP~

LOL.. yep lots of ranting, maybe there is a good reason for that. I agree with what you said Rene. I don't credit vendors who can't take the time to at least look once in a while at what we do with their products. Most are gracious and comment, but some never do. The one's I use most are from very committed and supportive vendors who, when not totally swamped, always comment. Those are the ones who deserve loyalty and praise.

i would be worried about the weapons they are holding. yes many vendors never comment on mine, but oh well, still enjoy the products and with respect i will always credit my friend. nice point doc.. thanks for the mention..

Let me speak as a vendor for a moment. True, I quit creating for Reno & you know why. But I do visit every one who credits my work, but I''m a very small vendor. On the other side, they may not visit as often, but many vendors sell hundreds of products & its overwhelming to try & do them all. And 99% of the vendors are there for you if you have a question or need help & will spend as much time as it takes with you til its fixed. No matter how frustrating it gets. Most vendors have families and other jobs. Most I know are overstressed & over worked. Just trying to make an extra buck or 2 for school clothes or activities for their babies. I'm not sayin' yea or nay, I'm just sayin'. lol. You know I love you, bro'. ;}

Dangerous, maybe, but mighty fine looking ladies as well! A super render, René – well done, my friend! I'm finding I have to actually keep notes to keep track of what items I've used – especially with the T.N.A. renders... Otherwise I spent a good half hour to 45 minutes trying to figure out what I used and whose it was! LOL!
