Waiting for thunderstorm to move past the end of the runway Menatar Cindy Cohoon and 3 of her crew strech their legs. Two others stay on board listening to the radio to get clearance to take off. Cindy is normally a commander of a craft that flies between Earth, Mars and Narine. But her dad has her flying for Synatar Bobby Carters Sky Net. She was given a smaller B-25 type craft to fly, to patrol the Tyber area for Goblins and Behemoths. From left to right Amtar Polly Pepper, Menatar Cindy Cohoon, Benatar Robbie Ross, and Amtar Pepper Potts. After a few of these flights she will move up to a Peacekeeper. The Peacekeepers have taken on a global role and are stretched beyond their numbers so the smaller craft are taking up gaps in the network. Four more Peacekeeper B models are soon to be delivered and Cindy will get one of those. She is probably going to stay with Sky Net and leave civil flights. Her commission was upgraded to Menatar from Mentar and now has a military status, thou she loved space travel, it seemed more like driving a bus with no excitement. These Sky Net flights are always exciting, one never knows when they will get to sink a Goblin ship trying to get to the mainland or rescue people from a sinking ship. They also get the penal colony at the west end of Venale island chain and you never know when some one will try to escape exile, or someone will try to sneak in and free someone from the island. Her little plane can stay up for 12 hours without refueling. They try not to refuel the B-25s in air due to their speed being a lot different than the tankers. Someone has suggested to make a B-25 tanker that will match the little planes hull speed. The big tankers can slow to about 150 and at max speed they only can touch that speed, they cruise at about 15,000 feet also the tanker likes to fly a lot higher than that. The B-25 doesn't handle heavy weather very good either, thus them waiting for the storm to move off the runway. Cindy says to Pepper, "How come I always find you fiddling with your left foot, I know you can't have broken a heel off that boot." Pepper replies, "This time I have a rock in my boot and it hurts." Everybody laughs, as Robbie helps hold her steady. Polly exclaims, "Look! here comes a Peacekeeper in for a landing its going to fly over us and land!" The second officer Robbie replies, "That's strange another Peacekeeper hasn't rolled out to take its place in the air." Cindy says, "I imagine another base replaced it before it got here. Remember we still only have 5 stationed here until the new ones come in this week, and 2 are now down for service." They get ready to re-board their craft and depart after the Peacekeeper lands. Now we leave Bobby Carter and Sky Net and head to another part of Kreal life. Maybe Ul-Ran island and their slaves.
