My old Rottie, Thor, is leaving this world. But he is going in stages. So slowly. Its breaking my heart every day.
He's always been strong, so its in his nature. From the day I brought him home from the shelter, he has been my best buddy. Now, at 13, refusing food for a week, he's ready to go home. But I'm not so ready to let him...

A very powerful and emotional piece of artwork, Angel! I can definitely see your heartbreak in this image. I can certainly relate to the way you're feeling – I'm going through the same situation right now with my dad. It doesn't matter whether the family member has two legs or four – the pain is still the same.. You're in my thoughts and prayers my friend.

I know it's late to offer you words of support, but I know where you are. It just rips your heart apart to see them like that, and to see them still try to be what they once were just kills you. I know he's gone now, but my prayers are with you. These are difficult days, grim even. This is a beautiful image, and so expressive.
