Well it was worth the wait. A really beautiful and peaceful landscape. I agree the house and pine trees look Scandinavian. Är du från Skandinaien?

A Real Keeper it is! The water takes a long time to render, but it is Well Worth the Time!!!

Not somewhere in Scandinavia but somewhere over the rainbow. Realy nice work Pete. Sehr schöne Arbeit, sehr viel Tiefe. Die Andeutung eines alten Gletschers im Hintergrund, klasse.

Very nice scene, love those ducks and ducklings... Still haven't figured out the 'ideal' settings for Vue myself, but for me render times vary from very long to 'no way'

That's a great scene, I love all the details you put into it, marvelous. Personally I don't use superior anymore, I stick to final. If you have a lot of small details, like you have with the flowers and grass, Vue takes ages to calculate the shadows when doing superior. I've found that final gives as much details, but less render time,

Amazing render!

another wonderful artwork Pete. I have often had the "why is it taking so long to render" question as well and usually work out it due to the lights and passes.

Bautiful results nonethless. Great scene and I like the distant mountain textures as well as the variety of vegetation. Superior setting in Vue raises the 'Quality Settings' to 77% which is unneccessary. These days I keep the 'Quality Settings' at 46%-50% and increase the anti aliasing filters and up the atmosphere quality settings in some cases. Also, the larger the render the more you can lower all those settings, especially anti-aliasing.
