Description

This one is for you Roxy! This is as an example of how I work an image in Photoshop. Turned this into a B&W as the background layer, laid a color version on top blending it in with the sky masked out and a 3rd layered doing the same with the ground masked out to get an HDR kind of effect without HDR. Topped that off with a curves layer to tweak the final result! The original exposure was a typical underexposed foreground and a slightly overexposed sky. Hope you like the results! FULL VIEW IS RECOMMENDED.

It is very pretty but i am one that lets the camera capture sometimes what i do not really see until it comes up on the computer the only time i add to mine is just for fun i like the real image of beauty nice work on this.

Like it? I love it! What caught me right off of course was the amazing color depth of the sky but also that the clouds were not blown out and torn apart by HDR. They still retained their soft structure with even gradations. There is just enough light on the land to make it believable and not to take away from the sky.

Very striking image! Great postwork the lighting look very natural. Before Photoshop the photographers would have used a gradient ND filter. I’m glad we have photoshop !
