This makes me think of illustrations for a lavish children's book...probably one of those unexpected sorts of things you'd find in the most improbable bookstore (probably named "Rinocerous" or or something like that, and invariably in Prague: the kind of bookstore that smells like, well...like old posters and prints. Needless to say, for me that's sheer brilliance, and this image is quite delightful in so many ways. I really like this: the whole presentation is top notch, warm, and inviting, and I suppose if I have to go being honest and all of that stuff, then I'll just have to say that don't resist cats. They're among my favorite companions, though I have yet to see one in a lovely hat; the last cat (with a hat) I encountered was my little Natasha, diligently...um...chewing, clawing, and otherwise murdering the hat. But that's actually a story for another post. I really like this image. It's so gentle and inviting. I love the colors, they embody the promise of spring.
