Description

I choose to write today as my sister is facing a terrific demon "death'if she chooses'no treatment' her life will most likely be less than months the 'ugly C"word' I am very sad of course my sisters (two)are not just sisters they R my best friends ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Life is a journey,not a destination Life is a precious thing however, there's times it strikes us down Were told to take each day at a time which is easier said than done For all of us death will merge it's ugly head We all have demons we will have to face being it losing loved ones and watching them suffer,wanting them to stay,not go perhaps to be stricken down ourselves with a illness which we will have to endure As much as we can try we hope to say the right thing giving others hope,and yes we mean it of course I do believe sometimes it's also the fear in oursleves until we walk in those shoes and we cannot truly understand that fear The unknown fear that we have little knowlege of creeps into our own thoughts what if this were me ? Suffering hours in pain ,is like a century to those that are going through the passage of a life and it's threating condition Some worship god and pray yet none really want to leave no matter what we fight or what we suffer we want to live on,for me it's a little more confusing and complexed and sort of very ironic now is it not ? I do not fear death I will fear the suffering more;when he comes to my door. but,when my feet walk in those shoes I know it will be much more clearer than complexed also,remembering the title of this write up is what helps me really understand more about life and pehaps death' ' life is a journey not a destination' evielouise© yours truly

I can truely say I know what you are saying Evie, tis one of the reasons I almost never post here. My 'C' came back and I've been going through treatment once more. It was a difficult decision made more so by my daughter being there. As I chose treatment, it's a one day at a time, but oh how i savor those moments. Each one made precious just by the daily experience. I will have you, your family and most especially your sister in my prayers, lifting you up and giving you what strength.

Beautiful Dedication Evie. If she has had a long and wonderful life, then that's all anyone can hope for. The sad truth about this world is that no one gets out alive. If we have been lucky enough for a long life then a painless death is a blessing. But to live with pain.. simply isn't living. I hope everything works out for the best. Hugs Dave :^)

Thank you everyone Now I am fighting with the Immigration to give me a emergency pass as my Perm,visa has expired we need to renew it every ten years and I was a bad girl now I'm paying the price Literally the new one will cost $480 plus $159 for paper work I will be mailing that all in next week as frank will help me with the flt etc etc I am hoping I can get there soon,I will not have a problem if I decide to travel with my expired card going in as I'm Canadain but coming back it could be a problem with the US..She starts chemo on the 16th my kid sister will be there thank god!~ again thank you all so much:
