This is a rough draft. The composition is bad and I've got a bug with the light dome.

Um, ibm386? What do you mean "maybe less photoshop"? I render each light source out separately and then merge them all together in GIMP. Then I tweak the contrast a little (but not much.) So... there's not a lot of "photoshop" to undo here.
