Description

A tiny piece of art, I once bought for my father. I posted a shot of this some years ago and thought to try from another angle and another light and with another camera :) Hope you all are having a happy easter. I love these! My maternal grandmother had a bunch of these little worlds, acquired from her one trip to The Orient, which shows how long ago that trip was. Anyway, this made me think of that! I love these little worlds made out of cork and the light in this is fantastic! This is really well done and the image looks so peaceful: almost like I'm sitting on the floor, with my chin on the cocktail table, looking at the little place made of cork. I especially like them if they have little tiny birds and animals. I love the color of that light. It makes me think of that hour before the sun starts setting, on a summer day.
